Proud City is now open

Great post on the LGBTQIA exhibit at the People’s Story Museum in Edinburgh, Scotland. (One of my favorite places on earth.)

I haven’t posted in a while as I have been busy working on a new exhibition. Proud City: LGBTQIA+ Edinburgh opened on Saturday at the People’s Story Museum following a great launch event on Friday night.

DSC_0042Proud City marks 10 years since the exhibition Rainbow City: Stories from Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Edinburgh opened at the City Art Centre.  The exhibition showcases museum collections, items loaned and donated by the LGBTQIA+ community as well as a specially commissioned film exploring life in Edinburgh in 2016. It provides an insight into LGBTQIA+ history and explores the lives of people in Edinburgh today.
